Ex-boyfriend, Marqz Robotham, charged in stabbing death of Allison Owen outside Connecticut bank as horrified customers watched.
Marqz Robotham, Hartford, CT, is accused of killing his former girlfriend, Allison Owen, in front of horrified customers at Windsor Federal Savings Bank Thursday afternoon. According to the Hartford Courant, police received calls from patrons at the bank who witnessed Robotham, 18, repeatedly stabbing Owen in the bank’s rear parking lot. She was rushed to the hospital, where she later died.
Windsor police Capt. Thomas LePore said both had graduated from Windsor High School in 2009 and had been living together until their relationship ended recently, according to the Courant. They were high school sweethearts and honor students.
Robotham’s bail is set at $1 million and he will be arraigned Friday at Superior Court in Enfield. The reality is that domestic violence knows no boundaries and is more prevalent than we think. My thoughts and prayers go out of the family of Allison Owen.
