Gulnare Free Will Baptist Church bans interracial couple after Stella Harville brings African-born fiancé, Ticha Chikuni, to church services last June.

SHAME: Gulnare Free Will Baptist Church bans interracial couples from joining the church in a 9-6 vote last Sunday. The resolution says the Pike County, KY, church “does not condone interracial marriage,” according the Fox News. The genius who crafted this ridiculous resolution is Melvin Thompson who claims he’s not racist. Um, really? I beg to differ.

The vote by members on Sunday was 9-6, Harville said. It was taken after the service, which about 35 to 40 people attended. Harville said many people left or declined to vote.

The resolution says anyone is welcome to attend services, but interracial couples could not become members or be “used in worship services or other church functions.” Source

The tipping point came for this back woods church when Stella Harville brought her African-born fiancé, Ticha Chikuni, to church last June. You see, some of the members of the church just couldn’t help themselves. Their true racist colors had to come to the surface. The reality is that all the decent members of Gulnare Free Will Baptist Church should exercise their free will and walk right out. Such division has no place in a church, of all places.

Seems like some people are just stuck on stupid. Unfortunately some people would rather divide, all the while portraying themselves as true believers in Christ. The reality is that they are no different than the Scribes and Pharisees, pretentious and just full of sh*t. My God is an inclusive one, who made us all. The role of the church isn’t to divide based on race, color or creed, but to welcome all through its doors, even the vilest offender.

Police Investigate Alleged Hazing of Bria Shante Hunter, Another FAMU Marching Band Member

Tallahassee police have opened an investigation into the alleged hazing of another FAMU marching band member, clarinet player Bria Shante Hunter.

Hunter’s parents told Atlanta’s WXIA-TV on Tuesday that the freshman clarinet player suffered a fractured thigh bone and damaged knee. They say when she returned to Georgia she couldn’t bend her legs.

A police report states the alleged battery started Sept. 15 and continued through Nov. 7, but it does not say how it may have occurred. Source

You will recall hazing is suspected in the recent death of drum major Robert Champion, who was laid to rest Wednesday.

Right Wing Evangelical Richard Land Asks New GOP Presidential Frontrunner Newt Gingrich to Explain “Turbulent Marital History.”

Right wing evangelical Richard Land, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, is asking Newt Gingrich to address the issue of his turbulent marital past.

Washington Times: “Mr. Speaker, if you want to get large numbers of evangelicals, particularly women, to vote for you, you must address the issue of your marital past in a way that allays the fears of evangelical women,” Richard Land, president of the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention, said in an open letter to the former House speaker. “You must address this issue of your marital past directly and transparently and ask folks to forgive you and give you their trust and their vote.”

It’s on now. Let’s see if the right wing evangelical hypocrites are going to welcome admitted adulterer Newt Gingrich with open arms or are they going to hold him accountable for his “Ten Commandment” breaking ways, specifically “thou shalt not commit adultery.”

Columbus, Ga., Violin Teacher Mario Roberto Urbina Charged with Sexual Molestation of Child Less Than 12 Years Old, Released on $50K Bond.

Violin teacher Mario Roberto Urbina of Columbus, Ga., has been arrested and charged with sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old, according to the Opelika-Auburn News.

Auburn Police Division Lt. Lorenza Dorsey said the charge stems from an incident in Auburn, Ala., in October. Police said in a statement that Urbina gave private violin lessons to several students in the Auburn area, but did not release further details.

Capt. Van Jackson of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office said Urbina was released from the county detention facility after posting a $50,000 bond. Source: Opelika-Auburn News

Megachurch Pastor Joel Osteen to Team Up with “Survivor” Producer for New Family-Oriented, Prime-Time Reality Show in 2012.

Megachurch pastor Joel Osteen to team up with “Survivor” producer Mark Burnett for a prime-time network television reality show in 2012, according to TMZ. According to the Houston Chronicle, a spokesperson for the church has confirmed that a program is currently in development.

Burnett told TMZ that the show will center upon ordinary people giving up several days or longer to go on a “mission” with the faith leader. While this may conjure images of Osteen and company traveling abroad to partake in missionary activities, the trips will apparently be confined to the United States. Source

Excuse me for being a skeptic, but this isn’t being done out of love for Main Street, but to uplift the pockets of all involved. What’s next?

British Woman Arrested After Racist Rant About Blacks, Polish and Non-English Speaking Immigrants on Tramlink route.

A 34 year old British woman went on a racist rant on the Croydon on Wimbledon Tramlink route recently, According to the BBC, the British Transport Police arrested the woman for a “racially- aggravated offense.” The woman is heard saying:

“What has this country come to?,” she asks. “A load of black people and a load of f*cking Polish… none of you are f*cking English.”

It is equally disgraceful that this shocking racist tirade occurred right in front of a small child, believed to be hers, seated in her lap during the entirety of this hot mess. Some people just have no class.

Deputies, Movers Refuse to Evict 103 Year Old Woman Vinia Hall from Atlanta Home After Deutsch Bank Forecloses after Default on Second Loan.

It is a crying shame that a mortgagor would want to evict a 103 year old woman from her home instead of trying to work out a deal to keep her in the home.  Deputies and movers refused to evict Vinia Hall, 103, from her northwest Atlanta home she shares with Kathelyn Cornelius, her 83 year old daughter.  She has lived in the home for 53 years. Deutsch Bank should be ashamed of themselves.

The legal fight over eviction started in 2009 and stems from a second mortgage taken out years ago by another family member, the report said. Lee hopes a deal can be reached so she can remain in her home. Source

Hall’s daughter was rushed to the hospital yesterday due to the stress related to this possible eviction.

Rajee Narinesingh of Miami, Fla., is one of “fix-a-flat”transgender fake doctor Oneal Ron Morris. Narinesingh, also a transgender, came forward to show the absolutely horrific state of her face after it was injected with the toxic concoction of cement and tire sealant. Narinesingh said she suffered “acutely lumpy cheeks, misshapen chin and a ballooning upper lip” after Oneal Ron Morris administered the “fix-a-flat” concoction in a duplex. Like I said, you get what you pay for. All I can say is damn! I am surprised that Oneal Ron Morris didn’t get a beat-down from some of his victims.
