The Coronado condo shootings have been officially ruled as murder-suicide. Sheriff’s officials said Bob Reeves (John Robert Reeves), one of the two Navy pilots who lived in the condo, committed suicide after killing the other three people.
Bob Reeves, a 25-year-old Navy jet pilot stationed at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station shot 31-year-old Matthew Saturley of Chula Vista, 25-year-old David Reis and his sister Karen, 24, both of Bakserfield, inside the condo on Park Place near Orange Avenue, officials said. Source
It is a really sad turn of events and one has to ask what’s going on the military and why so many soldiers are either committing suicide, committing murder-suicides, engaged in domestic abuse and other behaviors.
