KFI/640 AM have suspended talk hosts John Kobylt and Ken Chiampou “for making insensitive and inappropriate comments about the late Whitney Houston.” The specifics of their conversation weren’t disclosed, but in a recording of the show posted online, Whitney Houston was referred to as a “crack ho.”

OC Register: In the suspension announcement, Kobylt said, “We made a mistake, and we accept the station’s decision. We used language that was inappropriate, and we sincerely apologize to our listeners and to the family of Ms. Houston.”
Um, so why say it? Surely these two men knew there would be blowback. The Drudge Report is running with this story, but their coverage has been largely positive, so I am not sure where Matt Drudge is going with this.
