Moroccan Teen Amina Commits Suicide After Being Forced to Marry her Rapist

Moroccan teen Amina commits suicide by eating rat poison found in the home of her husband’s family after a judge ruled that the 16 year old teenager must marry her rapist. This is even though her family had filed charges against the man.Um, shouldn’t this judge be fired. Wait, this is what Islam tolerates, the denigration of women.

AL ARABIYA NEWS:  “A 16-year-old Moroccan girl has committed suicide after a judge ordered her to marry her rapist, according to Moroccan media reports.

Last year Amina’s parents filed charges against their daughter’s rapist, a man 10 years older than her but it was only recently that a judge in the northern city of Tangier decided that instead of punishing him, the two must be married.

The court’s decision to forcibly marry Amina to her rapist was supposed to “resolve” the damage of sexual violation against her, but it led to more suffering in the unwelcoming home of her rapist/husband’s family.

Traumatized by the painful experience of rape, Amina decided to end her life by consuming rat poison in the house of her husband’s family, according to the Moroccan daily al-Massae.”

Bartholomew Granger, on Trial for Aggravated Sexual Assault, Opens Fire at Jefferson County TX Courthouse, 1 Dead, Three Wounded

Bartholomew Granger, on Trial for Aggravated Sexual Assault, Opens Fire at Jefferson County TX Courthouse, 1 Dead, Three Wounded (KFDM)

BREAKING NEWS:  “A man who was on trial for aggravated sexual assault of a child in Beaumont opened fire at the Jefferson County Courthouse Wednesday morning, killing at least one person and wounding three others,  KHOU reports.”

Bartholomew Granger was arrested Wednesday morning after he allegedly fatally shot a relative about 11:20 a.m. at the Jefferson County Courthouse in the 1100 block of Pearl, the Houston Chronicle reports.

Surprise, surprise, Bartholomew Granger has a lengthy criminal history that includes convictions for possession of marijuana and unlawfully carrying a firearm, the Houston Chronicle reports. Of course, he had no business having a firearm in his possession, but the threat of prison obviously meant nothing to him.

UPDATE: Bartholomew Granger is being held without bond for the Jefferson County Courthouse shooting. His goal was to shoot his ex-wife and daughter ahead of any testimony. An elderly woman was killed.

Newt Gingrich New Campaign Strategy is to Sabotage Mitt Romney in Tampa at Republican National Convention

Newt Gingrich knows he can’t win the GOP presidential nomination, so he will do the next best thing in his mind — sabotage Mitt Romney any way he can, particularly at the Republican National Convention in Tampa.

Patricia Murphy:  Newt Gingrich tipped his hand last night at “his campaign’s real strategy, which is no longer to win to nomination outright but to make Mitt Romney lose by denying him the 1,144 delegates he needs to clinch the GOP nomination before the Republican convention in August.”

“Gingrich has grown increasingly bitter toward Romney throughout the campaign, as the former Massachusetts governor has unloaded a barrage of attacks against the former speaker and, Gingrich believes, hurt his showings at the polls in the process.”

National Journal: “Governor Romney will get at most one out of every three delegates. Once again he will fall dramatically short … I think that the odds against his being able to get 1,144 delegates is very, very high. I think he is more likely to be a front-runner who ends up not finishing the race.” (Quoting Newt Gingrich)

Still think this man is a viable candidate for the White House? If he can’t get his way, he resorts to dirty politics, much like his stint as Speaker of the House. He badmouthed Ronald Reagan then and is acting as though he is the legitimate heir to his legacy. What a narcissist!

Father of Missing Detroit Toddler Bianca Jones, D’Andre Lane, Jailed and Homicide Charge Pending

Father of Missing Detroit Toddler Bianca Jones, D'Andre Lane, Jailed and Homicide Charge Pending

D’Andre Lane, the father of missing two year old Bianca Jones, was arrested Monday for a personal protection order violation. Local4 is reporting that there is a felony hold for homicide against him through the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office.

You will recall Bianca Jones went missing December 2, when he claimed he was carjacked with the girl in the back seat. The car was later recovered, but the toddler was missing.

I watched D’Andre Lane during an appearance on HLN Nancy Grace Show and he was waffling when he was asked basic questions by the Grace. I didn’t believe he was telling the truth about what really happened to his daughter.

A press conference is scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Democratic Strategist Paul Begala: Mitt Romney “Gone from Inevitable to Unelectable” with Rick Santorum AL, MS Wins

Democratic Strategist Paul Begala: Mitt Romney "Gone from Inevitable to Unelectable" with Rick Santorum AL, MS Wins (New Yorker)

Democratic strategist Paul Begala is calling on Mitt Romney to drop out of the race for the GOP presidential nomination. He has proven that he can’t win the tough states by big margins during the primaries, so imagine if he were to go up against President Obama? Rick Santorum, with all the crazy comments emanating from his lips, is winning primaries in the more conservative states, such as Alabama and Mississippi (though Mississippi is still stuck in the dark ages, with 29% frowning upon interracial marriages).

His take is actually hilarious, but true — Mitt Romney should be strapped like his dog in his doghouse on the top of one of his Cadillacs and be driven off to one of his many mansions. Funny!

Paul Begala: “Let me be the first to call on Mitt Romney to get out of the race. By placing third in Alabama and Mississippi, losing to Rick Santorum and Newt Gingrich in both states, Romney has gone from inevitable to unelectable. Somebody strap him to the roof of one of his Cadillacs and drive him off to one of his many mansions.”

“One of the great legends of political consulting is the Dog Food Problem: an apocryphal tale of a company that had the best packaging, the best advertising, the best marketing. But there was only one problem: the dog wouldn’t eat it. Forevermore we should no longer call it a Dog Food Problem. We should call it a Mitt Romney Problem.”

The New Yorker had a picture of Mitt Romney strapping Rick Santorum to the top of his car, it should probably be the other way around. Assailing President Obama isn’t getting Mitt Romney anywhere. People just don’t like this man and don’t trust him. Either way, I have to echo Barbara Bush’s sentiments, this the worst presidential campaign I have seen in a long time.
