On “Black Wing Grievance Radio” yesterday – the news that the City Council did not accept the police chief’s resignation was used as PROOF that this RACIST city is all working in cahoots with Zimmerman to have him walk free.

    * When 92 year old Cathyrn Johnston was murdered by the Atlanta police – no one called for the Police chief that gave the green light on the “Aggressive Policing” of English Avenue to go

    *  When Dekalb County GA has 2 taser related deaths in early 2010 – there were no protests that the Police chief and County Manager who approved the Tasers had to do

    * About 5 years ago when a suspect that killed a Prince Georges County MD sheriff by running him over was arrested and later beaten by the dead sheriff’s former colleagues – the NAACP chose to have a JOINT PRESS CONFERENCE with the County manager, NOT demand that he and the sheriff leave office.

    * New Orleans – Danzinger Bridge – no demands for the top cop to go

    * Chicago – police torture in interrogations

    * Detroit – little girl shot on “The First 48″ – yes the police chief eventually resigned as this was yet another foible  but not from acerbic community protests.

    IS THERE A PATTERN HERE?

Constructive Feedback — You are so right. I don’t recall any mass protests for Kathryn Johnston, just Markel Hutchins screaming for justice. Let me add that he is in a lawsuit with her estate, proving it was all about money for him. Cooler heads need to prevail in the Trayvon Martin case and we must let the legal system work. Someone sent me a tweet last Saturday calling for a boycott of the state of Florida. I responded that the legal system must be allowed to work. What’s the use of creating economic turmoil on an already financially strapped economy? It will backfire.
