David Witte and Wife Holly Witte Found Dead in Apparent Murder-Suicide in North Codorus PA

NORTH CODORUS MURDER-SUICIDE:  David Witte and wife Holly Witte, 41, were found dead in an apparent murder-suicide in their home in the 1900 block of Stoverstown Road, in North Codorus, PA. Southwestern Regional Police Chief Gregory Bean said the incident started when David Witte, 42, called a family member at about 4:30 p.m. saying he was home and about to kill himself and his wife, York Daily Record reports.

David Witte then hung up the phone, and the family member went to the house to find the couple was already dead, Bean said. The Wittes’ 7-year-old son was not at home at the time of the shootings, Bean added.

So far, the investigation leads police to believe David Witte killed his wife and then self, and the reason appears to be “marital discord,” Bean said. Source: YDR

David Witte had little regard for himself, much less his wife and seven year old who is now left without a mother and father. The cases of murder-suicides continue unchecked. What’s going on?

In writing opinion, John Roberts said:

‘Congress had the power to impose the exaction in Section 5000A under the taxing power, and that Section 5000A need not be read to do more than impose a tax. This is sufficient to sustain it.’

House Speaker (Orange Drama Queen) John Boehner releases statement:

“The president’s health care law is hurting our economy by driving up health costs and making it harder for small businesses to hire.  Today’s ruling underscores the urgency of repealing this harmful law in its entirety.  What Americans want is a common-sense, step-by-step approach to health care reform that will protect Americans’ access to the care they need, from the doctor they choose, at a lower cost.  Republicans stand ready to work with a president who will listen to the people and will not repeat the mistakes that gave our country ObamaCare.”

LMAO: Rep. Eric Cantor (R-VA) releases statement saying the House plans to vote to repeal Obamacare during the week of July 9. Good luck. That won’t happen.

Obamacare: SCOTUS Rules Individual Mandate Survives

Obamacare: SCOTUS Rules Individual Mandate Survives (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

UPDATED:  Obamacare – The Supreme Court rules, the individual mandate survives! The Drudge Report is displaying a caption saying mandate gone from Obamacare. Um, wrong. The mandate survives! Obama is on to his second term in office. The U.S. Supreme Court upholds provision requiring Americans to carry health care insureance. OBAMA WINS!

According to The Associated Press, the U.S. Supreme Court has upheld the “individual mandate” requiring Americans to carry health insurance. This was a key part of President Obama’s Affordable Care Act.

Matt Drudge has egg all over his face, first reporting that the individual mandate was gone.  I wish I had a screen shot of his page earlier. Chief Justice John Roberts moved to the left on this one! YAAAAY.

Justice Roberts (the right will certainly unload like a ton of bricks) authored the opinion and was joined by Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor and Stephen Breyer. Big win for Obama.

CNN: “Because the individual mandate has been upheld, and is essentially the funding behind everything else, this can be seen in large part as a major victory for President Obama,”

Judgment Day Looms for Obama White House on Obamacare, Fast and Furious Contempt House Vote

JUDGMENT DAY:  The Obama White House unusually quiet ahead on the Supreme Court’s ruling on signature healthcare legislation. President Obama’s legacy is at risk, particularly if SCOTUS throws out the entire piece of legislation. It will also be a tough day for the Obama White House with the House set to vote on charging Attorney General Eric Holder with contempt. No matter how you view this, I’m sure President Obama isn’t looking forward to getting out of bed and facing the day. Stay tuned for updates.

There will total mayhem on Capitol Hill today. There is some rumbling that the Congressional Black Caucus plans to walk out once the proceedings begin. I guess this is all about race, right.
