Harlem’s “Queen of Soul Food” Sylvia Woods Dies After Battling Alzheimer’s at Age 86

NEWSFLASH:  Harlem fixture, “Queen of Soul Food,” Sylvia Woods, whose restaurant drew dignitaries and everyday people from all over the world to savor her fried chicken, died Thursday at age 86. Sylvia Woods was surrounded by her family when she passed away after battling Alzheimer’s disease.
