TRAGEDY:  Usher’s stepson, 11 year old Kyle Glover (Kile Glover), was declared brain dead by doctors following an accident Friday when he was struck by a jet ski as he was riding in an inner tube on Lake Lanier in Hall County, Ga. According to TMZ, a source said Glover, the son of Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster, has not experienced any brain activity since he was admitted to the Children’s Healthcare at Egleston Hospital and no decision has been made whether or not to take him off life support.

UPDATE#1 (07/09/12): The jet ski driver who hit Kyle Glover and a 15 year old girl as they sat in an inner tube, has been identified as Jeffrey S. Hubbard of Atlanta. No charges have been filed yet and Kyle Glover remains brain dead.

UPDATE#2 (07/10/12):  The family of Kile Glover issued the following statement to CNN Tuesday:  “We know God’s in control, and are leaning on our faith in Him and His word at this most difficult time. We firmly believe in the power of prayer and ask that you all continue to pray and lift Kile up, as it’s the best way we can all support him now.”

Also, the DNR said alcohol was not a factor in the accident. The investigation continues and charges may be filed.
