Sterling Sulieman will have a recurring role on NBC’s new comedy series, The New Normal, which centers on gay couple based in Los Angeles who wants to have a baby and enlist the assistance of a single midwestern mother and waitress who moved to LA and eventually becomes their surrogate.
Indie Wire: Sulieman will play a character named Clint, described as “the Republican EMT brother” of the assistant (named Rocky) to one half of the gay couple. And who’s playing Rocky, the assistant? NeNe Leakes - best known as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Sulieman’s resume is loaded with TV work; currently, you can catch him on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars.
The New Normal, which isn’t being shown on a few stations in Utah because of the gay theme, is scheduled to premiere on NBC on September 11, 2012, at 9:30 EST.
