“The Avengers” sequel is planned for May 1, 2015 and promises to be another blockbuster for Disney and Marvel Studios. The “Avengers,” which starred Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), the Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), Thor (Chris Hemsworth) and Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), took in $1.5 billion worldwide. Jack Whedon will be back to write and direct the flick.
