If you think Mitt Romney is for the middle class and poor, um, think again. As evidenced from his failure to connect with mainstream America, his tax plan doesn’t connect with us either. It certainly doesn’t bode well for the black vote that he’s targeting. He won’t do diddly-squat for anyone below the top one percent of Americans.

Brookings Institution/Tax Policy Center study finds Mitt Romney’s plan to overhaul the tax code would produce cuts for the richest 5% of Americans — and larger bills for everybody else.
Washington Post: “His rate-cutting plan for individuals would reduce tax collections by about $360 billion in 2015, the study says. To avoid increasing deficits — as Romney has pledged — the plan would have to generate an equivalent amount of revenue by slashing tax breaks for mortgage interest, employer-provided health care, education, medical expenses, state and local taxes, and child care — all breaks that benefit the middle class.”

No country can survive without a healthy middle class. Romney is trying to talk a good game of giving a damn, but he really doesn’t care much for you and I. He cares for people like Sheldon Adelson and others who can ferret their millions in tax shelters like him. Some people say anyone is better than Obama. Well, anyone else is better than Mitt Romney.  The black community stands to gain nothing from a Mitt Romney presidency. You think Obama hasn’t done anything for blacks? Mitt Romney certainly won’t either. So, take your pick…..

Didn’t VP Joe Biden say that “Paying taxes is patriotic”?
    What is the problem now?

Did you write an article from Obama’s announcement last week that this upcoming year will be the 4th year of a $1.2 Trillion deficit?

You will dismiss this as “BUSH created this mess” and thus won’t ascribe any co-ownership upon Obama.
Even if he is re-elected, I wonder if in 2015 you’ll be able to bring yourself to assign any particular blame to Obama.
