UPDATED:  New York City media reporting that a shooting has occurred near the Empire State Building in midtown Manhattan  in the 34th Street and Fifth Avenue area. The New York Post is reporting that four people were shot. Multiple people shot, one dead, thought to be the gunman.

UPDATE#1:  The Daily Mail reports two people are dead, five shot near Empire State Building.

UPDATE#2:  Initial reports, shooting near Empire State Building appears to have begun as a dispute between coworkers, ABC News reports

UPDATE#3:  Shooter wore grey suit as he opened fire near Empire State Building (http://t.co/yBt3cySx)

UPDATE#4:  Gunman in shooting identified as Jeffrey Johnson, former employee of Hazan Imports. Killed his co-worker, 41.
