Debbie Wasserman Schultz Should Step Down From DNC Leadership Role, Told Too Many Lies (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
Democratic National Convention chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz should step down because she has bungled her role and has lied too many times. When Anderson Cooper cornered her about a lie in a DNC fundraising mailer that did it for me. She has now been caught up in another mess — God being left out of the DNC convention platform and no mention of Jerusalem being the capital of Israel. Debbie Wasserman Schultz isn’t helping President Obama, she’s sabotaging his chances at reelection.
Democratic National Committee chiefs Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Patrick Gaspard cancelled interviews with local media outlets tonight, amid controversy surrounding the party’s decision to reintroduce “God” and “Jerusalem” to the platform.
Jon Ralston, host of the Las Vegas-based “Face To Face” news program, told POLITICO that he was sitting in the chair waiting for a 2:45 p.m. PT (5:45 p.m. ET) interview with Gaspard when he was told that his guest had cancelled, without explanation.
Blair Miller of WSOC TV, ABC’s Charlotte, N.C., affiliate, also tweeted that Wasserman Schultz cancelled her interview with him, without explanation. “After my Romney intv today, we were planning to interview @DWSTweets live,” he wrote. “However, she did not show up. Her staff not answering calls.” Source
Clearly the Democrats were wrong to leave God out of the platform. This was a fight that wasn’t necessary. We are a country built on religious principles. Atheists and agnostics shouldn’t be allowed to hijack the beliefs of a majority of Americans. Secondly, as for Jerusalem being the capital of Israel, it seemed odd that it was left out of the platform compared to 2008. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Patrick Gaspard are two bumbling idiots just like former RNC chairman Michael Steele. Sorry, that’s just the way it is.
