Obama Campaign Surpasses Four Million Donors, Record for Any Presidential Campaign (Obama for America)

I just got an email from the Obama campaign saying that it has surpassed four million donors, which is a record for a presidential campaign. President Obama’s field director Jeremy Bird disclosed the totals in an email to supporters Saturday night. The campaign email also said it has accomplished the following:

  • registered more than 40,000 in Colorado and Pennsylvania;
  • registered more than 60,000 in Florida;
  • registered more than 75,000 in North Carolina;
  • opened 798 field offices to the Romney campaign’s 295
