Radcliffe Haughton Identified as the Gunman in the Azana Spa Shooting Rampage Near Brookfield Square Mall
BROOKFIELD SHOOTING RAMPAGE: Radcliffe Haughton, a former U.S. Marine, has been identified as the gunman who opened fire at the Azana Spa in Brookfield, WI, wounding seven people. Radcliffe Haughton, 45, is reportedly estranged from his wife, Zina Haughton, who has an order of protection against him. According to media reports, court records show a judge issued an order of protection against Haughton on October 18, saying there was a credible threat against his estranged wife. The condition of the seven shooting victims are not known at this time. Radcliffe Haughton, who is from Brown Deer, fled the scene in a 2003 Mazda Protégé with license number 171-KZD. He is listed at 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing about 210 pounds and reportedly seen wearing a gray sweater with blue jeans, and carrying a black and white backpack.

There is also a case that was filed October 8, 2012, involving domestic violence and a temporary restraining order. His estranged wife, who has not been named publicly, has two daughters, one of whom works at the spa and was taken away by police after the shooting.

UPDATE 10/21/12 4:40 PM EST: Three people dead, according to Police Chief Daniel Tushaus. The suspect was born 12/17/1966 and his full name is Radcliffe Franklin Haughton. The vehicle has been found, but the suspect is still missing. Improvised explosive device found in the salon. Four people are being treated at Froedert Hospital.

UPDATE## 10/21/12 9:51 PM EST: Radcliffe Haughton was forbidden by the court to have any firearms and was directed to deliver them to the sheriff. According to the Journal Sentinel, Radcliffe Haughton grew up in Wheeling and Northbrook, Ill., and spent four years in the Marines after graduating from high school.He later became general manager of an Illinois car dealership and lost that job a few years ago.
