SNL Mocks Vice Presidential Debate with Paul Ryan Claiming to Run 100M Race Against Usain Bolt at London Olympics (Photo credit: Instagram)
I knew that the vice presidential debate would be the opening act on Saturday Night Live, but I didn’t bargain on seeing the fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, making an appearance. SNL started with Martha Raddatz (played by Kate McKinnon) moderating the vice presidential debate between Joe Biden (played by Jason Sudeikis) and Paul Ryan (played by Taran Killam). Biden laughed, hung back in his chair, looked up at the ceiling, interrupted and tough-talked through the debate, while Ryan offered no specifics.
Needless to see, all I could see from Joe Biden were his teeth and Paul Ryan’s widow’s peak. SNL mocked his constant sipping of water, going from a small glass to a large glass. They also mocked Paul Ryan’s marathon claims, with him even claiming to have ran in the 2012 100m race at the London Olympics. To his request of asking Usain Bolt if it was true, the man himself made an appearance and said no, “you weren’t there.” Funny stuff. See video below!
