MISSING CHILD:  Cleveland police need your help in finding three year old Emilliano Terry, who went missing from Kossuth Park, when his mother, Camilia Terry, said she briefly turned away to tend to her other child, News Net 5 reports. Not sure why an Amber Alert hasn’t been issued.

Emilliano Terry is two and a half feet tall and weighs approximately 30 pounds News Net 5 reports. He was reportedly last seen wearing a gray Northface coat, red and black sweater, blue jeans, blue and black Champion tennis shoes. If you have any information, please call the Cleveland Police at 216-623-5400.

WARDROBE MALFUNCTION: Justin Beiber shows up to accept the highest award from the Canadian Prime Minister Stepen Harper looking like he was hanging out with his boys. They should have given the Diamond Jubilee Award to someone else. Some have called him “trash prince.” Well Dapper Don doesn’t come to mind.
His attire, on a stripped pair of blue overalls with one side deliberately unbuttoned over a white t-shirt and a baseball cap backwards is nothing short of a disgrace and total disrespect for the PM and the people of Canada.

Does Rihanna have the “battered-wife syndrome?” She is hanging out with Chris Brown again. You know, that guy that beat and bit her. According to media reports, the two spent Thanksgiving together in Berlin. In fact, Rihanna has made no secret that she and Chris Brown are spending time together. She recently laughed off rumors of romance between her and Brown in a Facebook Live! chat with Andy Cohen, saying they weren’t dating again. Okay, ladies, if your significant other beats you once, he or she will do it again. Just think of Ike and Tina Turner. She had to run with the clothes on her back and chump change in her purse.

“Twilight” and “Skyfall” Devour Newcomers, “Rise of the Guardians” and “Life of Pi” in Long Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend Box Office

Teen vampire film “The Twilight Saga:  Breaking Dawn Part 2” starring Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart, led the weekend box office with $64 million in ticket sales for the five-day Thanksgiving holiday. Daniel Craig as 007 James Bond in blockbuster “Skyfall” in second place with a total five-day haul of $51 million. “Skyfall” is the 23rd installment of the James Bond franchise.

Steven Spielberg’s  historical film about the last days of President Abraham Lincoln, “Lincoln,” in third place with $34.1 million. Newcomer animated film “Rise of the Guardians” featuring the voices of Chris Pine and Alec Baldwin as the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and other childhood favorites save the world, took fourth place with $33 million. Another newcomer, Fox “Life of Pi” based on Yann Martel’s 2001 bestseller about a boy who survives on a raft with a tiger after a ship sinks, rounded out the top 5 with $30.2 million.

From Deadline Hollywood:  Best of all, audiences came out in droves for an overwhelming majority of original films as well as popular sequels. Hollywood today is giving thanks this is now the biggest-ever moviegoing T-Day holiday: $288M for the 5 days of domestic box office, smashing 2009′s record of $258.6M. It also beat the previous all-time 5-day moviegoing record set in 2009 of $270.5M. I don’t wanna hear these studios plead poverty to the Hollywood community for at least several months. (“We have no complaints,” agreed one studio bigwig.) In sharp contrast to Wednesday and Thanksgiving Day grosses, domestic box office went into overdrive on Friday by posting double- and triple-digit increases. Saturday stayed relatively flat, with only one film up in the Top 10.

Long-Time Civil Rights Leader Lawrence Guyot Dies at Age 73 (Lawrence Guyot in early days)

LAWRENCE GUYOT DIES:  Longtime civil rights leader Lawrence Guyot died at age 73, sometime late Thursday or early Friday morning, his daughter, Julie Guyot-Diangone, said. Lawrence Guyot had dedicated his entire life fighting to empower the powerless and improve race relations in the U.S. In his struggle for racial equality, he was even beaten in his home state of Mississippi by law enforcement officers.

Washington Post:  A Mississippi native, Guyot (pronounced GHEE-ott) worked for the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee and served as director of the 1964 Freedom Summer Project, which brought thousands of young people to the state to register blacks to vote despite a history of violence and intimidation by authorities. He also chaired the Mississippi Freedom Democratic Party, which sought to have blacks included among the state’s delegates to the 1964 Democratic National Convention. The bid was rejected, but another civil rights activist, Fannie Lou Hamer, addressed the convention during a nationally televised appearance.

Guyot was severely beaten several times, including at the notorious Mississippi State Penitentiary known as Parchman Farm. He continued to speak on voting rights until his death, including encouraging people to cast ballots for President Barack Obama.

Sen. John McCain, who attacked UN ambassador Susan Rice over her talking points in the aftermath of the U.S. consulate attack in Benghazi, now says she could win him over during confirmation hearings, if she is nominated to replace Hillary Clinton, by President Obama. Um, really? During an appearance on “Fox News Sunday” with Chris Wallace, he backtracked after his attacks on Rice were proven to be unfounded.

Host Chris Wallace then circled back, asking McCain if he was saying “she could conceivably get your vote for Secretary of State.”

“I think she deserves the ability and the opportunity to explain herself and her position,” McCain responded. “Just as she said. But, she’s not the problem. The problem is the president of the United States.” Source

The reality is that John McCain is losing credibility fast and it seems that he’s chewing on sour grapes over his loss to then-candidate Barack Obama in 2008. It’s amazing that he was quick to throw Susan Rice under a bus, but when there was clear evidence that the Bush Administration bungled the intelligence leading up to the September 11, 2001, terror attacks that claimed thousands of lives, we didn’t hear peep out of him on throwing Donald Rumsfeld or Condoleezza Rice under a bus.

Penn Jillette Slams Donald Trump’s Hair in New Book: “Looks Like Cotton Candy Made of P*ss”

Penn Jillette, one half of Penn and Teller, slams “carnival barker” Donald Trump in his new book, “Every Day is an Atheist Holiday.” An excerpt of the book was posted on Salon.com and also included a slam on his head:

“Trump’s hair is a lot better than mine—but as I sat there for hours half listening to Donald carry on, it struck me exactly what his hair looked like. It looks like cotton candy made of piss.”

Penn Jillette had more to say about Donald Trump’s ridiculous show, “The Celebrity Apprentice:”

“The Celebrity Apprentice” is easy like junior high is easy. All the arithmetic, the creative writing and the history are super simple, but like junior high, you do that easy work surrounded by people who are full-tilt hormone-raging bugnutty. Everyone is panicked, desperate, yelling, swearing, attacking, backstabbing, failing to get laid and acting crazy. With all this drama, any sane person just wants to do more algebra. “The Celebrity Apprentice” is junior high with a better brand of acne cover-up.

Penn Jillette also targeted Clay Aiken in the book:

‘One day while shooting, I’d had a heart-to-heart talk with Clay Aiken. I would have preferred waterboarding. I don’t like heart-to-heart talks with anyone, but Clay Aiken? Strap me to the board, and put the wet towels over my face. Drowning sounds nice.’

Judging from President Obama polling well in some red states like South Carolina, Georgia and narrowly losing North Carolina in the presidential election, some parts of the Deep South aren’t as Red as you think. President Obama finished more strongly in the South than any other Democratic presidential candidate in three decades. The Washington Post said that underscores “a fresh challenge for Republicans who rely on Southern whites as their base of national support.”

Washington Post:  ”Obama won Virginia and Florida and narrowly missed victory in North Carolina. But he also polled as well in Georgia as any Democrat since Jimmy Carter, grabbed 44 percent of the vote in deep-red South Carolina and just under that in Mississippi — despite doing no substantive campaigning in any of those states.”

“Much of the post-election analysis has focused on the demographic crisis facing Republicans among Hispanic voters, particularly in Texas. But the results across other parts of the South, where Latinos remain a single-digit minority, point to separate trends among blacks and whites that may also have big implications for the GOP’s future.”

I would also add that the Republican Party also has another problem — moderates have been squeezed out. It is also quite clear that they won’t get 25 percent of the black vote, but as Henry Barbour (nephew of former Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour) said, the party has to figure out how to appeal to those black voters who share their core beliefs. At the same time, the race-baiting from the GOP has to stop if they want to appeal to black and Hispanic voters.
