Baldwin County, Alabama, sheriff’s deputy Scott Ward killed, another is in critical condition, after responding to a welfare call and encountered Michael Jansen at 11830 Mallard Lane in Fairhope Friday afternoon. The deputies and the suspect exchanged gunfire. Deputy Scott Ward and Michael Jansen were killed.
