US Coast Guard Terrell Horne III of Redondo Beach Killed, Two Arrested After Ramming Coast Guard Cutter in Panga-Style Vessel (Attribution Unknown)

URGENT:  US Coast Guard member who died has been identified as Terrell Horne III of Redondo Beach. Two suspects have been arrested. Terrell Horne III died early Sunday morning during an investigation near Santa Cruz Island, CA. A panga-type vessel that was suspected of “illicit activities” rammed a small boat deployed by the Coast Guard Cutter Halibut, throwing Horne and another member overboard, the U.S. Coast Guard said in a press release.

One of the crew members sustained only minor injuries, while the other, Terrell Horne III, suffered a traumatic head injury.  He was pronounced dead after being taken to emergency crews at the Port of Hueneme (why-NEEM-mee). The suspects were later detained.

Eric Eucker, an assistant grounds keeper for the Cleveland Browns reportedly committed suicide at the team’s training facility Saturday. He reportedly killed himself in a shed. The Cleveland Browns issued a statement saying, “Eric was a good friend and colleague and an outstanding employee. He will be missed by everyone in the Cleveland Browns organization.” This suicide occurred on the same day Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher killed his girlfriend Kasandra Perkins in an apparent murder-suicide.

Willie and Alfie Marshall, who are black, were attacked during a visit to Paesano II Pizza in Greenlawn, NY, last Saturday, in a racially-charged hate crime when they were stomped by employees upset President Obama won reelection.  A complaint about the food erupted into an all-out brawl, including racial slurs hurled, along with salt and pepper shakers, at the couple by brothers Frank and Michael Meringolo, who were charged with assault.

The attorney for the pizzeria’s owner said Marshall threw a jar of Parmesan cheese at his clients, not the other way around as claimed, 1010 WINS’ Gary Baumgarten reported.The Meringolo brothers also claimed Alfie Marshall was hurt inadvertently when her husband ran and bumped her into the door.They also claim they used no racial slurs.

‘The allegation by Mr. and Mrs. Marshall that the incident on November 24 was quote a racial attack or an Obama backlash is completely untrue,’ defense attorney Richard Toscani said.The pizzeria employees claim Willie Marshall initiated the altercation. Source
