DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Former Atlanta Braves star player Andruw Jones was arrested in Gwinnett County, Ga., for beating his wife, Nicole Derick, on Christmas Day.
Gwinnett County police responded to Jones’ home off Grey Moss Court in the Sugarloaf Country Club neighborhood at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday in reference to a dispute with his his wife, according to a release.
During the investigation, police said probable cause was developed to arrest Jones for battery.
Jail records show Jones was booked into the county jail around 3:45 a.m. Tuesday and had been released on $2,400 bond by 11 a.m. Source
Andruw Jones and his wife, Nicole Derick, have been married for 10 years and have two kids, a son and daughter together.
