The names of the first children killed in the shooting massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn., have been released: Grace McDonnell and Ana Marquez-Greene, whose father is Canadian jazz musician Jimmy Greene. Both children were six years old, among the youngest victims named. The Sun News reports Ana Marquez-Greene and her family had recently moved to the U.S. from Canada.
First grade teacher, Victoria Soto, was also killed during the shooting rampage. She was a first grade teacher. Soto died shielding her students from madman Adam Lanza. She was 27. Among the dead are principal Dawn Hochsprung and psychologist Mary Sherlach. Dawn Hochsprung reportedly buzzed Adam Lanza into the building because she recognized him as the son of Nancy Lanza, who taught at the school.
