Miami Police Officer Luis Hernandez, a 27 year veteran of the force, was arrested on charges of armed sexual battery by a law enforcement officer and armed kidnapping, NBC Miami reports. Officer Luis Hernandez was arrested by internal affairs detective and is being held on no bond, according to the online arrest information.
This comes as another Miami police officer, Reynaldo Goyos, was fired for killing an unarmed black man, Travis McNeil, during a 2011 traffic stop. The investigation found Officer Goyos wasn’t in imminent danger as he claimed when he shot McNeil.
