BREAKING NEWS: Two people are in police custody in connection with the murder of Chicago teen Hadiya Pendleton, who was laid to rest Saturday. Chicago police said that two adult males are in custody for the teen’s murder. The two men, ages 18 and 20, picked early Sunday at 67th and Martin Luther King Drive, the Chicago Sun Times reports. As of Sunday evening, the two men haven’t been formally charged with Hadiya Pendleton’s murder.
Separately, Rev. Jesse Jackson has gotten his wish. President Obama will be visiting his hometown of Chicago Friday to discuss gun violence after the State of the Union addres.
