Film Director Jonathan Bucari Plans Made-For-TV Movie Related to Newtown Shooting

NEWTOWN SCHOOL SHOOTING:  Film director Jonathan Bucari plans to a made-for-TV movie related to the Newtown school shooting. WVIT-TV reported that Demian Productions  said the film isn’t about the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting massacre where Adam Lanza killed his mother, 20 children and six educators on December 14.

The film focuses on a 13 year old boy with mental illness and a growing fear of his parents after the shooting. The movie is being filmed in Ridgefield, which is located 20 miles southwest of Newtown. Jonathan Bucari said he chose Ridgefield because had many similarities to Newtown and because he didn’t want to upset Newtown residents so soon after the mass shooting.

Sorry, but the timing of this movie is poor. The tragedy is too fresh and this is an affront to the families of the victims.
