3 Marines Dead, Including Suspect, in Quantico Marine Base Shooting

QUANTICO MARINE BASE SHOOTING:  Three Marines are dead, including the suspected gunman, in Quantico Marine Base shooting late Thursday night. The suspected shooter died from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound, when authorities found his body inside a barracks building near the Officer Candidate School early Friday morning. He is identified as a staff member at the Officer Cadet School.

The suspect barricaded himself inside the barracks after shooting the first Marine Thursday night. The barracks were isolated and when authorities entered, they found a deceased female Marine. A press conference is pending Friday morning.

The Quantico Marine Base shooting comes days after seven Marines and a Navy Corpsman died in an explosion during a live-fire training exercise at the Hawthorne Army Depot
