Former Kansas City Associate Pastor George Spencer Arrested on Child Molestation Charges

PASTOR GEORGE SPENCER ARRESTED:  George Spencer, 58, a former associate pastor at Greater Works CME Church in Kansas City, Mo., was arrested in New Orleans on charges of child molestation and forcible sodomy of a child.

Fox4KC reports, Spencer was charged by Jackson County prosecutors with statutory sodomy, forcible sodomy, three counts of child molestation and two counts of sexual misconduct involving a child.

George Spencer’s arrest stemmed from the FBI field office in Kansas City that received information of his alleged attack on a 13 year old girl in February 2012 while he served as associate pastor of Greater Works. The teen told police he molested her.
