Ruslan Tsarni: Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev Were ‘Puppets and Executors’ in Boston Bombing

Atlanta GA — Federal terrorism charges could be filed shortly against Boston Marathon bombing suspect Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, even though he is hospitalized in serious condition, CNN reports. He could also face murder charges at the state level. While there is no death penalty in Massachusetts, he could be put to death at the federal level. The government didn’t read Dzhovhar Tsarnaev his Miranda rights right away probably won’t affect the outcome of this case. The reality is that they need to find out if there are other explosives out there that have not been detonated. This was a crime against the people of the United States and should be handled that way. Eric Rudolph and Timothy McVeigh were domestic terrorists who were tried as such. Sens. Lindsey Graham, John McCain, Kelly Ayotte and Rep. Peter King calling for Dzhokhar Tsarnaev to be treated as an enemy combatant is just political posturing. They need to let the FBI and the Justice Department do their jobs.

Anzor Tsarnaev claims his sons, Tamerlan, who was killed Thursday night, and Dzhokhar could not be responsible for the bombings. Um, how does he explain where their backpacks disappeared to and why did they carjack a black Mercedes, kill MIT campus police officer Sean Collier, wounded another cop Richard Donohue (who was a friend of Sean Collier), throw improvised explosive devices at law enforcement officers, engage in a gunfight with law enforcement officers if they were innocent? The bigger question for me is why Tamerlan Tsarnaev left his wife and child for six months last year when he went to Russia? Anzor Tsarnaev claims that his son visited him, but can we really prove that was the case?

It’s my opinion that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev was influenced by his older brother, Tamerlan, who became ‘radicalized’ at some point in his later life. Ruslan Tsarni told “TODAY Saturday” that he “strongly believes they were just puppets and executors of something of bigger scale.” He echoed my sentiments by opining that the younger brother “victimized others, but he’s been used by his older brother.” He told Savannah Guthrie that he noticed a surprising transformation in Tamerlan Tsarnaev the last time he saw him in 2009.

“There certainly were mentors,’’ Tsarni said. “I was shocked when I heard his words, his phrases, when every other word he starts sticking in words of God. I question what he’s doing for work, (and) he claimed he would just put everything in the will of God. It was a big concern to me. He called me ‘confused’ when I started explaining to him, make yourself useful to yourself and to your family and maybe you’ll have extra to share with everybody else.” He also said he believes the radicalization didn’t occur in Russia or Chechnya, but right here in the U.S. He said he was told someone of Armenian descent may have helped to steer Tamerlan in that direction.

It’s also disturbing that The Drudge Report and other right wing sites sought to link the domestic terrorists to rappers Jay-Z and T.I. because one brother tweeted a line from Jay-Z track and the other frequented Rapper T.I. expressed outrage that anyone would seek to connect these two terrorists to Hip-Hop. T.I. told TMZ that “Hip hop narrates the activity and conditions of our culture,” he tells us. “It doesn’t create them.” The Drudge Report conveniently ignored the tweet quoting a line from rapper Eminem’s track.

It’s interesting that Dzhokhar Tsarnaev’s Twitter profile read “Salam aleikum,” which is a greeting among Muslims and that the profile photo is the face of a lion with its mouth open, baring its fangs. He tweeted a few times in the hours after the Boston bombing.

In response to another Twitter user posting a photo Tuesday saying it showed a man who was going to propose to his girlfriend at the marathon in Boston and found her dead, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev tweeted: “fake story.”

It’s ironic that he mentioned the Boston Marathon in an August 10th tweet. It’s not clear what he meant by tweeting “Boston marathon isn’t a good place to smoke tho.”

Here are some of his other tweets:

When the terrorists’ uncle, Ruslan Tsarnaev claims that “he was told someone of Armenian descent may have helped to steer Tamerlan in that direction [radical Islam],” he needs to remember the following two things: a) Armenians are Christian, in fact, the first Christian nation in the world, and b) Both historically and in current times, Moslem nations such as Turkey and Azerbaijan, have been the sworn enemies of the Armenians, massacring them every chance they get. The first genocide of the 20th century by Turks against Armenians comes to mind. Given these two facts, it is simply ludicrous to believe that an Armenian converted to Islam, and then radicalized Islamic Chechens into acts of terror–something Chechens are famous for in the past two decades in their struggle for independence from Russia…

The uncle trying to save face is so pathetic. Everybody knows that there are ZERO Armenian muslims. Don’t even get me started on the dad suggesting that they were “framed,” wow. Here’s another theory – maybe being a delusional terrorist just runs in your family?

maybe the uncle meant that the acquaintance he spoke to was Armenian, not the person who radicalized them?
