CBS has yanked the tornado-themed season finale of Mike & Molly, which deals with a tornado hitting Chicago, though no devastation was going to be showed.
A CBS spokesman said, “Due to the tragic events this afternoon in Oklahoma, we are pre-empting tonight’s season finale of Mike & Molly, which has a related storyline.”“A repeat broadcast of Mike & Molly will run in the time period. The season finale will be broadcast at an appropriate date.”
A search-and-rescue is underway for K-3rd students at Plaza Towers Elementary School that was devastated when an EF4 tornado hit Moore, Okla. Two elderly men died Sunday after severe weather triggered several tornadoes across Oklahoma, Illinois, Kansas and Iowa.
Due 2 the tragic events in Oklahoma, 2nite’s season finale of #MikeandMolly, which has a related storyline, will be pre-empted by a repeat.
