Jerrick Jackson, the brother of Atlanta megachurch pastor Wiley Jackson, was killed early Tuesday morning during a robbery at his northwest Atlanta home.
Jerrick Jackson, 46, was pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital after being shot multiple times at his home in the 2400 block of Lowe Street.
Jackson is the younger brother of senior pastor of Gospel Tabernacle Cathedral. You will recall Wiley Jackson and another brother, Rodney Jackson, were indicted on Georgia securities violations. The charges were reportedly dropped after they repaid the investors.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports, Jerrick Jackson had just returned home from a restaurant at about 1 a.m. when he was met by several suspects and forced inside the home. A struggle ensued and he was shot.
