DEA Agent Killed in Robbery Attempt in Bogota Colombia

DEA AGENT KILLED:  U.S. Ambassador Michael McKinley said a DEA agent was killed during a robbery attempt in Bogota, Colombia.

The agent, who hasn’t been identified, had just left a restaurant after watching the NBA finals with his friends, when the robbery attempt occurred after he got into a taxi.

McKinley made the disclosure Friday during an interview with local Radio Caracol. Local media said the agent had worked in Colombia for 13 months.
