Defense Attorney Mark O’Mara to Sybrina Fulton: “You certainly hope, as a mom, that your son Trayvon Martin would not have done anything that led to his death, correct?” Fulton replies, “What I hoped for is that nothing happened and he’d still be here. That’s my hope.”  Then says “I don’t believe he was” responsible for his own death. Sybrina Fulton is excused from the stand.

From all the evidence presented by the prosecution, 90% of it favors Zimmerman and the defense. I can see why they did not charge him in the first place. Putting the mother on the stand is not evidence, but rather a move to draw at the heart strings of the jurors. Zimmerman could be guilty, but not a single bit of evidence was presented to prove it.

Pelmo — How do you answer the question of why George Zimmerman didn’t follow the dispatcher’s order not to follow the teen? I agree that putting the mothers on the stand is just for emotional reasons. Everyone is assuming that Trayvon Martin was the aggressor. We weren’t there to see who started the fight.
