Nevada GOP Leader Pat Hickey Brags Minorities Won’t Vote in 2014 Giving Republicans Big Win

A top Nevada Republican leader, Pat Hickey, is banking on people of color and younger voters staying home from the polling station in 2014 elections to give the party a big win. Let’s prove them wrong as we did in 2012. He said, “we have some real opportunities in 2014.”

This is a great year in an off presidential election. No, seemingly no Democrat on the top of the ticket against Sandoval. No Harry Reid. Probably where we had a million voters turn out in 2012 we’ll have like 700,000. A lot of minorities, a lot of younger people will not turn out in an non-presidential year. It’s a great year for Republicans.

Can you say voter suppression? The usual Republican Party trick to get blacks and Hispanics to stay home on election day.
