Akron Firestone High School music teacher David Spondike was suspended after posting a racist rant on Facebook in which he railed against kids from the ghetto to trick-or-treat. He also used the n-word repeatedly to bolster his racist claims.
“I don’t mind if you come from the ghetto to trick or treat,” Spondike posted. “But when you whip out your teeny d*cks and piss on the telephone pole in front of my front yard and some preschoolers and toddlers, you can take your n*gger-ass back where it came from. I don’t have anything against anyone of any color, but n*ggers, stay out!”
The post was taken down by late Monday morning and the 51-year-old Spondike apologized “to those who are sincerely offended” before deleting his Facebook account.
Akron Schools placed Spondike on administrative leave, and a school official said evidence from the case was sent to the Ohio Department of Education as a procedural matter.
I am pretty sure David Spondike has black kids in his class and it’s a sad commentary that he harbors such racist views. Here’s David Spondike’s rant from his now-deleted Facebook post:
