Larry O’Neil Walker II ID’d as Person of Interest Arrested in Detroit Barber Shop Shooting

Larry O’Neil Walker II has been identified as the person of interest in the Detroit barber shop shooting that left three dead — Bryan and Joezell Williams and Kevin Perryman — and six wounded.

Larry O’Neil Walker II was charged Friday with assaulting a federal officer, the Detroit News reports. He is expected to make his initial court appearance in federal court on Friday.

A four-page criminal complaint outlines a manhunt in the hours after the shooting at Al’s Barber Shop Wednesday evening, an incident that Detroit Police Chief James Craig has called an act of “urban terrorism.”

A task force that included the FBI was targeting Walker and set up surveillance along the 800 block of Lynhaven in Rochester Hills. At 9:45 p.m. Wednesday, investigators spotted two white cars leave a home along Lynhaven and head toward the intersection of Rochester and Avon roads. The cars stopped at several gas stations and restaurants. According to a criminal complaint, the cars were occupied by female associates of Walker talking on their cell phones. Source: Detroit News
