Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is really giving a 2016 presidential run some serious thought. He hinted that he would consider running even if Jeb Bush, brother of former president George Bush, runs as well.
Sen. Rubio said during an appearance at the National Press Club in Washington D.C., “I think when someone contemplates running for president of the United States, you do so based on a criteria you’ve established for yourself. I don’t think those are decisions that you make with someone else’s decision in mind.”
Rubio said, “And I would bet you if he was here today he’d give you the exact same answer. I think that’s the way you approach a decision of that magnitude, is based on your own criteria, not on what someone else might or might not do.”
I would love to see how the birthers will view Marco Rubio, since they claim Barack Obama was a Kenyan. Some also said he wasn’t a natural born American because his father was from Kenya. Both Marco Rubio’s parents are from Cuba, so I guess, in their view, he shouldn’t be considered a natural born American. That’s unless the issue they had was only with the black guy.
