Another black politician is facing prison time. U.S. Attorney Sarah Saldana says Dallas County Commissioner John Wiley Price accepted $950,000 in cash, cars and land from a consultant in exchange for influence.
Price is accused of taking a total of $1.1 million and failed report it to IRS or on financial disclosure forms, the U.S. attorney says.
Saldana also said, the case against Price is about money “flowing and funneled” to him by his co-defendants, and their steps to hide it.
