FREDDIE GRAY CASE: MISTRIAL Declared in William Porter’s Trial

Mistrial declared in William Porter’s trial in Freddie Gray death case.

#BREAKING:  A mistrial was declared in the first trial in the Freddie Gray death case. The judge declared a hung jury in the trial of Baltimore Officer William Porter.

Porter was the first of six officers tried in Gray’s death. A second trial will now be required for him because the jury could not reach a verdict.

William Porter was accused of not buckling Gray into the transport van, which was a violation of Baltimore Police Department directives.
