Micah Johnson has been identified as the Dallas shooting suspect who killed five officers and wounded six as a Black Lives Matter protest was winding down.
Dallas Police Chief David Brown said Johnson, 25, said he was killing white officers for killing black men. He told police he acted alone.
Micah Xavier Johnson has no known criminal record. He told police he was a U.S. Army veteran, CBS News reports. He was a member of the US Army Reserve.
Johnson told police negotiators that the “end is coming” and said he wanted to “kill more” officers, Police Chief Brown said.
