Donald Trump is governing on a hunch, along with Infowars conspiracy theories and an insatiable need for self-aggrandizement that does not serve this great country well. In fact, it’s a disgrace.
He is so insecure about his election win that he continues to push conspiracy theories and debunked claims about widespread voter fraud to somehow justify that he lost the popular vote. He is now pushing a conspiracy from a loon Gregg Phillips that three million people voted illegally. Did he ever stop to wonder how incredibly ignorant this makes him look?
Trump tweeted: “Look forward to seeing final results of VoteStand. Gregg Phillips and crew say at least 3,000,000 votes were illegal. We must do better!”

Gregg Phillips hasn’t provided one shred of evidence about his claims, nor has he said how he acquired the information. Judging from the lunacy on the right, it’s safe to say this is nothing more than bullshit.
Phillips told the Daily Beast that he would release the data and the algorithm to the public once he was sure it was “fine-tuned,” but gave no timeline. Um, really? Then why has he mostly gone dark on social media sites such as Twitter and Facebook?
Daily Beast: “Phillips told The Daily Beast on Tuesday that his group would not only release the full data but was also working to highlight each of the 3 million names his algorithm has identified as an illegal voter—from “dually registered” ones to ones “associated with a dead person”—for everyone, including the Trump administration, to see.”
“Phillips claims his group, a band of volunteers loosely affiliated with a right-wing organization called True the Vote, has “184 million voting records we’ve collected over time.””
It’s ironic that dually registered voters should stick in Trump’s craw, since several people in his inner circle, including his daughter Tiffany Trump and son-in-law Jared Kushner are registered in two states. His top adviser Steve Bannon and Treasury Secretary nominee Steve Mnuchin are dually registered.
Donald Trump is trying to suppress the vote for the 2018 and 2020 elections by attacking the system. Stay woke people. Stay woke. There is no way so many people could have cast ballots illegally and such actions have gone unnoticed. Secretaries of state have said their systems have detected no such thing. The Republicans have been trying to disenfranchise people of color for years.
