Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) played politics by reaching out to Donald Trump and not President Obama following the Fort Lauderdale airport shooting.
Um, apparently he doesn’t know we have one president at a time.
He was asked by reporters during a press conference this evening, saying he had contacted Trump and Mike Pence. When pressed why he hadn’t reached out to President Obama, he said this wasn’t the time to play politics. Um, he just did.

Reaction on Twitter:
Ricki Scott is another racist who's also been a criminal and still managed to stay in office. #RickScott They all stick together.

Obviously Gov. Rick Scott cares more about his personal relationship with Trump than he does about the people of Fort Lauderdale.

Governor Rick Scott apparently doesn't know we only have one president at a time. He only called Trump, who isn't acting president…

Gov Rick Scott insults Obama by contacting Trump & Pence _ who are NOT in office. More GOP arrogance dismissing a sitting president.

Rick Scott is a jackass. Trump and Pence can't help, they aren't in office yet. Obama and Biden can help if asked.

What "resources" can president-elect trump give Rick Scott and Florida right now? O is still the president the last time I checked.

Rick Scott is counting the days 'til his BFFs Trump & Pence take office. I'm doing the same 'til Scott leaves office:
731 days and counting

I feel terrible for Florida residents right now for so many reasons, not the lest of which is that they have to be governed by Rick Scott .
