Trump Calls Chuck Schumer ‘Head Clown’ Then Minutes Later Call for Bipartisanship

Donald Trump calls Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer the ‘head clown,’ then minutes later call for Democrats and Republicans to unite. Um, you can’t make this sh*t up.

Trump tweeted in three parts:  “The Democrats, lead by head clown Chuck Schumer, know how bad Obamacare is and what a mess they are in. Instead of working to fix it, do the typical political thing and BLAME.

The fact is Obamacare was a lie from the beginning. “Keep your doctor, keep your plan.”

He added: “Time for Republicans & Democrats to get together and come up with a healthcare plan that really works – much less expensive & FAR BETTER!”

Remember when Trump pledged to unite the country after a nasty election campaign? Here’s what he said during his victory speech in the wee hours of Nov. 9, “Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division. We have to get together. To all Republicans and Democrats and independents across this nation, I say it’s time for us to come together as one united people.”

“I pledge to every citizen of our land that I will be president for all Americans, and this is so important to me. For those who have chosen not to support me in the past, of which there were a few people, I’m reaching out to you for your guidance and your help so that we can work together and unify our great country,” he added.

Um, lies. All lies.

Clearly this tweetstorm and childish name-calling are an attempt by Trump to distract from the tsunami of issues swirling around his upcoming presidency. You will also recall he said he knows more about the Russian election hacking than President Obama and the intelligence agencies and would share that information with the public on Tuesday or Wednesday. Um, it’s Thursday. Still nothing.

Trump’s tweetstorm comes as Democrats are waging war on Republicans and his presidency, which hasn’t even begun yet.
