Chelsea Clinton seemed throw shade at Donald Trump’s sad National Prayer Breakfast speech by tweeting Isaiah 40:29-31. Yup, Chelsea has joined the resistance.
This comes after Trump talked about The Apprentice ratings and praying for Arnold Schwarzenegger over the show’s ratings.
Clinton tweeted: “No, no, no. Thinking of Isaiah 40:29-31.” She retweeted a CNN screenshot that read “Trump: Let’s pray for Schwarzenegger on Apprentice.”
No, no, no. Thinking of Isaiah 40:29-31. https://t.co/eWU3qPCbjw

Here are the Scripture verses Chelsea Clinton quoted:
29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
31 but those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.
Of course, I seriously doubt Donald Trump knows much about the Bible much less the book of Isaiah.
Clinton also went after Trump’s Black History Month speech, which was all about himself and a mockery of Frederick Douglass, who has been dead since 1895. Like the rest of us, she was at a loss for words:
This is…this is… https://t.co/p0Jv4CBa0q

Twitter took notice of Chelsea Clinton’s tweet shading Trump’s speech today:
Anyone else loving newly liberated @ChelseaClinton being shady as hell these days?

I just want to say that I am glad @ChelseaClinton is giving Trump a classy whatfor almost daily. I picture her texting HRC like "MOM."

@ChelseaClinton perfect verse. Just so hard to think about the Bible and DJT at the same time. Please keep up the hard work. We support you!
