Rep. Jason Chaffetz, chairman of the House Oversight Committee, is seeking criminal charges against the former State Department employee who helped set up Hillary Clinton’s private email server, the AP reports.
Chaffetz sent a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, “asking him to convene a grand jury or charge Bryan Pagliano, the computer specialist who helped establish Clinton’s server while she was secretary of state.”
Um, emails are so much more pressing than Russia sabotaging our election and allegations that members of Donald Trump’s campaign staff were in constant contact with Russians. That includes Gen. Michael Flynn who was forced to resign as National Security Adviser for lying over his conversation about sanctions with the Russian ambassador.
I hope Jason Chaffetz gets primaried because it’s time for him to go. It’s quite clear that they are on a partisan witchhunt over Clinton’s emails, which pale in comparison to the Trump/Russia connection and the election hacking.
