Robby Mook Wants Trump Campaign Prosecuted for Treason If They Conspired with Russia

Robby Mook, Clinton campaign’s former manager, wants the Trump campaign prosecuted for treason if they conspired with Russia to help Donald Trump win the 2016 presidential election.

Mook told The Hill, “We need to find out exactly what happened. If US campaign aides helped the Russians, knew about the Russians plans, or asked the Russians to intervene in any way, they should be prosecuted for treason and measures should be put in place to make sure this never happens again.”

Republicans may dismiss Mook’s comments as being bitter over the election loss, but the connection between Trump and Russia is unmistakable and warrants an independent investigator. There are too many coincidences.

Treason is a very serious crime, but if the Trump campaign conspired with a foreign adversary to win a presidential election, then those guilty of committing this crime should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Former Clinton campaign press aide Brian Fallon also went off on James Comey. He tweeted “Russia probe that Comey confirmed was, as best we can tell, in effect before Nov 8. Fair to ask why he didn’t think voters deserved to know.”
