Bill O’Reilly’s lawyer blames the “unprecedented” campaign in “post-McCarthyist America” that was led by the “far left” that led to Fox News firing him for the numerous cases on sexual harassment against him.
Um, Donald Trump’s buddy went down in flames just days after mocking Rep. Maxine Waters’ hairstyle and Wendy Walsh going public with her bombshell sexual harassment accusation. That may have been the accusation that did O’Reilly in because Ms. Walsh did not file a lawsuit.
O’Reilly’s attorney Marc Kasowitz issued a statement saying, “Bill O’Reilly has been subjected to a brutal campaign of character assassination that is unprecedented in post-McCarthyist America. This law firm has uncovered evidence that the smear campaign is being orchestrated by far-left organizations bent on destroying O’Reilly for political and financial reasons.”
Um, gee, we are all still waiting on the “evidence” Mr. Kasowitz claims to have. It seems to me that Fox News via their attorney found a lot more troubling information connection to sexual harassment allegations.
O’Reilly said his ouster from Fox News was “due to completely unfounded claims.”according to reports.
