Melissa McCarthy returned to mock White House press secretary Sean Spicer in a very funny skit on Saturday Night Live, wearing a giant bunny suit. He was previously the Easter bunny for the egg hunt during the George W. Bush administration.
McCarthy as Spicer began by telling the children to sit down and shut up, saying, “I’m sweating my East eggs off in this thing.”
Spicer said, “Shut up so I can apologize.” “You all got your wish this week, didn’t you? Spicey finally made a mistake.”
He defended Donald Trump’s decision to bomb Syria, saying, “Syria’s leader, what’s his name, what’s his name, I’ve got his name, Bazooka Phylicia Ahmad Rashad wasn’t like Hitler, who never used chemical weapons, and everybody freaked out. They were like boo-hoo, what about the Holocaust centers? And yeah, I know they’re not called the Holocaust centers. Duh. I know that. I’m aware. I clearly meant to say concentration clubs, okay? Let it drop.”
McCarthy as Spicer said Hitler sent the Jews on trains to concentration clubs, at least they didn’t have to fly United.”
She also mentioned the “beautiful chocolate cake” Trump was eating while he bombed Syria.
McCarthy as Spicer ended by telling the children to eat as much a candy as “you can because this is probably our last Easter on Earth.”
