Sally Yates Invited to Testify Publicly Before House Intel Committee

Former acting Attorney General Sally Yates was invited to testify before the House Intelligence Committee after May 2. It will be a public hearing as well. The Trump-Russia investigation continues to intensify.

FBI Director James Comey and National Security Adviser Admiral Mike Rogers were invited to testify at a closed hearing on May 2. While former CIA Director John Brennan, Director of National Intelligence James Clapper and Yates were also invited to testify at an open hearing that to be scheduled after May 2nd.

Rep. Adam Schiff, Ranking Member on the HPSCI, tweeted: “Back on track: sent letters with inviting Comey, Rogers, Brennan, Clapper and Yates to testify before House Intel Committee.”

Get ready for shenanigans from Donald Trump as the hearings draw near. He is trying to distract and muddy the waters. Devin Nunes, chairman of the HPSCI tried to run interference for him, but that backfired royally and he is now under an ethics investigation. He recused himself from the investigation.
