Pittsburgh mayor Bill Peduto claps back after Donald Trump said he was elected to represent the voters of his city as he announced his decision to pull the U.S. from the Paris Accord. Um, by the way, Hillary Clinton won Pittsburgh by a landslide — 80 percent, to be exact.
Mayor Peduto tweeted: “As the Mayor of Pittsburgh, I can assure you that we will follow the guidelines of the Paris Agreement for our people, our economy & future.”

He was responding to Donald Trump’s comments as tweeted by press secretary Sean Spicer: “I was elected by voters of Pittsburgh, not Paris. I promised I wld exit or renegotiate any deal which fails to serve US interests.”
Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo tweeted support for Pittsburgh: “Once again @RealDonaldTrump is wrong. Paris and Pittsburgh do stand together for the #ParisAgreement….”
