CNN fires pro-Trump commentator Jeffrey Lord for a Nazi reference — “Sieg Heil,” not his long history of making racist and other inflammatory comments.
Lord attacked Media Matters and its president Angelo Carusone in a post that appeared on the far right-wing website The American Spectator. He wrote, “Media Matters Fascists, the anti-free speech bigots who, in typical fascist style, make it their mission to shut down speech they don’t like…”
Carusone responded to Lord’s tweet: “Hey Jeff. Article is bullshit and filled with lies. Soros gave us one donation one time…in 2010.”
Hey Jeff. Article is bullshit and filled with lies. Soros gave us one donation one time…in 2010.
Why are you lying to your readers?

The Twitter spat ended on Thursday with this tweet:

CNN said statement: “Nazi salutes are indefensible. Jeffrey Lord is no longer with the network.”
Well, that was just too much for CNN, I supposed. Never mind all the other inflammatory things Lord has said in the past, including his comment that Donald Trump is the Martin Luther King Jr. of health care. Still, I’m glad both he and Kayleigh McEnany are gone.
Media Matters wasted no time celebrating:

Well, Twitter went wild:
RETWEET A THANK YOU TO @CNN FOR FINALLY ENDING JEFFREY LORD'S EMPLOYMENT
This was long overdue.
Let's see where he lands.

CNN should be ashamed at how long they kept Jeffrey Lord on the air in the first place. Shameful.

Going to honest here, with Jeffrey Lord being fired & Kayleigh McEnany going bye bye, I might tune in to CNN every once in a while. Maybe.
